London, England - March 4, 2021 - At Medella Life we believe everyone is responsible for preserving our planets ecosystem and ensuring that we have a healthy planet for future generations to enjoy.
As such, we wanted to develop an environmental sustainability programme that had tangible results, focusing on three goals:
· Improve people’s wellbeing.
· Support our goal of becoming carbon neutral
· Preserve and enhance our planet’s ecosystem
Consequently, we are delighted to announce our partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects (Eden).
Eden is a non-profit whose mission is to provide fair wage employment to impoverished villagers as agents of global forest restoration.
Forests play a critical role in our global ecosystem – they are the lungs of our planet. Covering 30% of the Earth’s land surface, they are a vital source of oxygen and home to 80% of Earth’s biodiversity, including many endangered species.
To date, Eden has planted more than 485 million trees in Ethiopia, Madagascar, Nepal, Haiti, Indonesia, Mozambique, Kenya, and Central America.
For every placement that we make at Medella Life, we will plant 500 trees. This is our simple commitment to meeting our critically important goal of preserving our planet for future generations to come.
